I always wanted to have a simple summer shirt with small details in the pattern. The base of the neckline and shoulder is held in place by a cross-knit panel. This is to prevent the neckline from rolling or widening too much later. Both the V-neckline and the armholes ends in a small plait that can be continued at the armhole as an option. The shirt is longer at the bottom towards the middle than at the sides. The cuffs are short and simple. With the hundredth pattern I wanted to show how a pattern knitted with different yarns looks like. All the yarns I chose are made from different materials and have different price levels. In some cases, mixing yarns (you know how much I like to do this, so I couldn’t miss it in this tutorial either) combines properties well. This resulted in 5 different shirts in several sizes. It was also important for me to show that there is not always just “one right size”. Buy the pattern here.
