The Kosho sweater is composed of rhombuses or spinels in half fisherman's rib and garter waves. Depending on the color scheme, you can emphasize the garter waves or the spinels. The sweater has batwing sleeves.
It is worked up from the center back to the neckline, while knitting the back sleeves at the same time. The neckline is created by omitting two spinels and is easily adjustable in width when finishing the garment. Then the sweater is worked down from the neckline, again, knitting the front sleeves at the same time to the center front. Stitches are picked up along the center back and the Kosho sweater is worked top down in rounds to the hem. The last sleeve spinel covers the back of the hand and can be folded over, if desired, by a small loop and a button. Please note, that the amount of yarn given is for the cropped version, if you would like to knit a longer version, you may need more yarn.
